MBFWA | Alice McCall.

CONGRATULATIONS to Alice McCall on such a successful 10 years in the Australian fashion industry.
Her show at MBFWA was theatrical in the sweetest and prettiest way possible.

Know for her dreamlike aesthetic, the show was nothing short of a mystical wonderland. Filled with a colour palette
of crisp whites and sweet pastels of dusty pale blues, pistachio green, lemon and carnation pink, taking form in
beautifully feminine silhouettes of sweetheart rompers, scalloped dresses, lace embroidery and delicate ruffles of sheer chiffon.
Taking inspiration from the surreal and infinite possibility of lucid dreaming, 'In My Dreams We Were Flying' is the bridge between fantasy and reality.
Each model was styled beautifully with shimmering glitter dusted hair and a youthful, dewy complexion.
The finale was set to The Carpenter's 'Rainbow Connection', with confetti snow falling from the sky as the models showed off the looks for the last time.

The show was such a beautiful way to celebrate Alice McCall's 10 years.
I have my favourites, but I think it's safe to say that I will be dreaming of this entire collection for some time to come.
